ABSTRACT
The article reports on the plan of Heidtman Steel Products Inc. to construct an annealing facility in the U.S. It was inferred that the facility will carry 500,000 tons of quality steels per year including martensitic grades. The company states that the move aims to meet the increasing demand of customers on the product, especially in the automobile industry. Heidtman stresses that the overall construction cost is anticipated to be at $225 million.
