ABSTRACT
The author reflects on the issue concerning the ability of the steel mill industry to acquire service centers with the growth of consolidation and merger. He stresses on the various factors that influence the interest of the steel market to engage into acquisition of service centers. It was shown that investors are reluctant to carry out deals in foreign countries brought by the development of risks.
