ABSTRACT
The article discusses working with emotions. According to Orange, they recruit call center staff because of their personality, not because of technical skills. The author asserts that working with emotions may involve establishing rapport with customers, smiling, creating a pleasant atmosphere and simply being friendly. The author states that there is evidence that women are the preferred candidates for working with feelings.
