ABSTRACT
The article discusses career transitions and organizational changes. According to business partners Fred Mandell and Kathy Jordan, there are seven common creative competencies used both by individuals during career transitions and by organizations as they wrestled with change. Chris Worley and Ed Lawler wrote in their book "Built to Change" that leadership is where hierarchy is reduced and authority moves naturally.
