ABSTRACT
The article reports on the plan of Media Content & Communications Services India, a joint venture between News Corp.'s Star group and media conglomerate ABP Corp., to launch a Marathi-language news channel in India. Its goal is to serve the Maharashtra state, which considers Mumbai, the biggest city as its capital. Star Majha, which literally means my star, will be a 24-hour news service topped by Rajiv Khandekar.
