ABSTRACT
The article reports on the agreement made by Weinstein Co., "24" television program producer Tony Krantz and "Infernal Affairs" film director Andrew Lau for the production of three action films in Hong Kong, China. Krantz and Lau will seek to redefine the traditional chopsocky movie through their Flame Ventures and Initial A film companies. Moreover, Weinstein Co. will take worldwide theatrical and homevideo rights.
