ABSTRACT
The article reports that Russ Batson, American Home Furnishings Association's (AHFA) vice president of government affairs, believes that federal estate tax is unlikely to disappear in the U.S. Batson shared his views during the AHFA Finance Division's annual meeting held in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Batson said that budget makers are under pressure to make changes in the alternative minimum tax.
