ABSTRACT
The article reports that the U.S. House of Congress Democrats have stripped the agricultural disaster aid from the Iraq supplemental spending bill. It mentioned that the Democrats will put the Republicans and the U.S. President W. Bush on the spot voting on the measures for disaster assistance for ranchers and farmers, and to test whether the president is pro-rural development. In addition, the president criticized the agriculture spending provision when he vetoed the Iraq supplemental bill.
