ABSTRACT
The article informs that Sonoco Products Co. of Hartsville, South Carolina, has agreed to purchase custom blow molder Matrix Packaging Inc. for $210 million in cash. The purchase includes six blow molding plants in the U.S. and Canada. Sonoco spokesman Roger Schrum informed that the addition of six blow molding plants essentially triples Sonoco's current blow molding footprint.
