ABSTRACT
The article presents a list of accounting and financial professionals who had risen to prominent posts in the bureaucracy of the government of Great Britain. The article notes that almost all of the supervisory posts in the civil service in Great Britain were, in 2007, held by finance executives formerly working in the private sector.
