ABSTRACT
The article reports that Our Stories Films company has signed an agreement with couples Mara Brock Akil and Salim Akil to produce, write, and direct an untitled theatrical production in the U.S. The inaugural project, based on the idea by Priya Scroggins and Capricorn Clark, is about a woman who begins a business to investigate the mates of high-powered women after she herself is left at the altar. Moreover, this is the first theater project for the Akils.
