ABSTRACT
The article reports on the two dye molecules encountered by the researchers at Washington State University (WSU) in Pullman. The said molecules are Disperse Orange 11 (DO11) and a material made by the U.S. Air Force (AF455) that recover from photodegradation if left in the dark for a matter of hours. Moreover, in DO11, the photodegradation involve molecules pairing up to form dimers, and recovery seems to occur when the molecular pairs disassociate.
