ABSTRACT
The article reports on the urge of the several centrist-to-conservative Democrats for their leadership to continue reject the majority of the majority rule in the U.S. Congress. Democratic Representative Earl Pomeroy explained that the Grand Old Party (GOP) lost its house majority as the rule gave too much power to the far-right of the Republican Party. Representative Jane Harman also expressed her opposition regarding the majority rule.
