ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the health care restructuring plan in Louisiana. According to the article, the Louisiana Senate signed off on the framework of the restructuring plan that stresses preventive and primary care to keep people healthier. The plan indicated the creation of medical networks of care. As part of the plan, the state would supervise managed care networks that were established by public and private health care providers.
