Dong secures stake in MVV Energie

The article reports that Danish group Dong Energy has won the tender to buy a 16 per cent stake in MVV Energie sold by the city of Mannheim in Germany. Other companies who bade for the shares include Mainova, RheinEnergie, Electrabel and MVV Energie's fellow southwest German utility EnBW. MVV Energie plans to develop its plant capacity with the help of a new investor.
