The article discusses how proposed regulatory standards by the U.S. Alcohol & Tobacco Tax & Trade Bureau (TTB) are passing jitters in the tobacco industry. According to people associated with the industry, the proposed regulations will essentially eliminate the cigar category. Director of public and media affairs for the TTB, Art Resnick, said that TTB has recognized the need to establish better regulatory standards to distinguish between cigars and cigarettes.
