ABSTRACT
This article reports on the name change of the Infantry Museum at Patriot Park in Columbus, Georgia to the National Infantry Museum and Soldier Center. In addition to Army artifacts, the center will offer visitors a three-dimensional (3-D) IMAX Theatre, a themed restaurant and a gift shop. The site includes a re-created World War II street, a memorial walk of honor, a parade field and a stadium. The park will soon include an armor museum, which will move to Fort Benning, Georgia in 2009.
