The article reports that Continental Tire North America Inc. unveiled several strategic marketing initiatives to its distributors and dealers during a meeting in San Antonio, Texas in 2007. Some of the initiatives announced include paying more attention to cost competitiveness and replacement markets. Andreas Gerstenberger, Continental's vice president of sales and marketing said that the firm hopes to get unit volume growth in 2007 to about 30 million.
