ABSTRACT
The article reports on chemical prices in the U.S. According to the author, all grades of propylene have risen, as tight refinery grade propylene supply pushed spot prices higher. Benzene contracts settled at $4.20 per gallon in May 2007. Toluene prices also increased. According to the author, high gasoline prices triggered the increase in chemical prices. A chart that shows chemical prices is provided.
