Spanish-Argentine oils major seeks new partner

Repsol's corporate development director Miguel Martinez stated that the company is in conversations with an Argentinean group for the acquisition of 25% of Repsol. He added that the company was also looking at the possibility of an initial public offering (IPO) for YPF. Repsol YPF's first quarter chemicals operating income surged to € 88 million.
