ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the allegations of critics of a U.S. free trade agreement (FTA) with Peru about the violation of House Democrats of their party's principle that social security systems should not be privatized. Labor groups supported by the Public Citizen urge the U.S. government to reject or change the agreement's dispute settlement system.
