ABSTRACT
The article reports on the announcement of Democratic Chairwoman Stephanie Tubbs Jones to reopen an investigation of Representative William Jefferson now that he has been indicted on 16 counts of bribery and corruption in the U.S. Jones has yet to announce who will serve on the ethics committee for the investigation, and has scolded Republicans for trying to make political hay out of the case.
