ABSTRACT
The article reports on the development of waste water reclamation program by the LOTT Alliance, a wastewater treatment partnership comprised of four governments in Washington. The program aims to address the problems concerning wastewater and helps contribute towards the conservation of water resources in the estate. It states that LOTT has constructed the 2-MGD Martin Way Reclaimed Water Plant that started in 2004 which produces reclaimed wastewater that meets the requirements set by the Departments of Health and Ecology. It shows that the facility utilizes a membrane bioreactor that blocks wastewater from entering through the tank as well as suspends solids. In addition, the wastewater plant is found to provide the wastewater treatment capacity needed by the community.
