ABSTRACT
This article announces that Mountain View, California-based Internet telephony solutions startup JaJah has scored $20 million in a round of venture funding. It says that venture capitalists Intel Capital and T-Online Venture Fund were among those who invested in JaJah. The funding of JaJah could signal the transition of the voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) technology from hype to reality. JaJah has acquired more than 2 million users from 55 countries in its first year of business.
