A reprint of the article "Sweet and Sour," by Phil Lempert which appeared in a previous issue is presented. It highlights the findings of the study "How America Shops for Candy and Snacks" conducted by the National Confectioners Association (NCA). It was found that supermarkets are the dominant source for these products. 39% of the consumers surveyed said that they would like to see more variety, better assortment and wider choice in the candy aisle of a store.
