The article reports on the settlement of the initial European paraxylene contract price for May 2007. The agreed contract price has increased from that of the price in April. The European price tends to follow the rise in the Asian contract price which is usually settled to avoid confusion and price volatility. Some of the Asian May contract prices are mentioned.
