Rhodia expands on intermediates

The article reports on the expansion of the intermediates production of chemical company Rhodia. Rhodia is expanding its intermediates production by boosting its phenol and acetone capacity as well as cyclohexanol capacity in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The projected phenol and cyclohexanol capacity increase is mentioned. The company has also signed a joint-venture agreement with Qingdao Haiwan and Qingdao Dongyue Sodium Silicate for a sodium silicate project.
