ABSTRACT
The article reports on the discovery of new oil and gas field in Kuwait. According to Kuwaiti Oil Minister Ali al-Jarrah al-Sabah, the discovery would be a boon to the petrochemical industry in the country. He, however, declined to disclose further details. Kuwait is one of the largest oil producer in the world. Petrochemical companies Equate and Dow Chemical are considering expanding their operations in the country.
