ABSTRACT
The article reports on the increase of broadband subscribers in the U.S. It is stated that inspite of the large broadband adds, the country has continued to lag when it comes to the rate of broadband adoption. Moreover, it points out that through 2006, the number broadband subscribers has increased 26 % from 157 million in December 2005 to 197 million in December 2006.
