The article reports on the plan of Eastman Chemical to begin production of specialty copolyester in Columbia, South Carolina in 2008. The move is part of the company's plans to expand its global copolyester production. Eastman Chemical has already expanded its cyclohexane dimethanol capacity in Kingsport, Tennessee in early 2007.
