ABSTRACT
The article reports on the planned investment by Perstorp in a 100,000 tons/year di-propyl heptyl phthalate (DPHP) plasticizer plant in Stenungsund, Sweden. According to chief executive officer (CEO) Bo Dankis, the project, which includes a 120,000 tons/year plant for the production of 2-propyl heptanol (2PH) feedstock, is the company's largest investment since it was created 126 years ago.
