The article reports on the strategy of cosmetic pigment manufacturers to cater to changing fashion trends and innovation with a vivid palette of product introductions and energetic development programs. Michael Birman of Ciba Specialty Chemicals notes that new pigment applications, innovative effects, new formulation technology and stronger sales for color cosmetic products have all boosted global cosmetic pigments demand. Ciba projects that the outlook for cosmetic pigments is good.
