The article deals with the mergers and acquisitions among cosmetic and personal care ingredient manufacturers, which may begin to attract more private equity. Gillian Morris of Kline & Co. explains that global demand for cosmetics and personal care ingredients totals $8 billion to $10 billion. It is indicated that the busiest acquirers in the area have been International Specialty Products (ISP) and Cognis and Croda.
