ABSTRACT
The article discusses the OpenFunds global return fund of HSBC which move into the private equity by taking small holding in the Pantheon International Participations. The Pantheon has invested globally in private equity funds and makes direct investments in private equity companies. According to the head of multi manager of HSBC James Hughes, the global return fund of HSBC has a natural allocation to the private equity and Pantheon invests it in the secondary market which has fewer issues.
