The article discusses the new diode-pumped fiber laser cutting system for the stent manufacturing processes. The system has a faster speed, accuracy and greater level of process control capability for the new stent generations to have a consistent feature and a higher degree of process control. According to the chief executive officer of Eucatech Michael Giese that the new generation of stent requires an in depth redesign of the manufacturing process chain as a whole.
