ABSTRACT
The article reports that Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin is a noted supported of his junior colleague, Senator Barack Obama, in the heated presidential issues. So few were surprised when Durbin stopped short of endorsing Senators Hillary Rodham Clinton and Robert Byrd, Appropriations Committee chairman, in their attempt to end the congressional authorization for the war in Iraq. Durbin considers the proposal as a valid constitutional and policy issue.
