The article reports that Canada's opposition Liberal Party wants the ruling Conservatives to halt the approval of foreign acquisitions for three months and bring in laws to make such deals harder. Canada has seen a flurry of takeovers and buyouts for many of its resources and other companies over the past 12 months. This has worried many industry and political leaders, according to the author.
