ABSTRACT
This article predicts that China and India will likely post strong growth this year amid firm domestic consumption and an expected soft landing in the U.S., according to a report by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). The OECD has forecast Chinas 2007 and 2008 gross domestic product (GDP) growth at 10.40% and India will post 8.5% in 2007 and 8.0% in 2008 growth in GDP.
