This states that RAG Group is prapred for its stock market debut planned for spring 2008. The company is encouraged by a strong start in 2007. The group reported a 21% year-on-year improvement in first quarter (Q1) earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) to €425 million, as sales rose by 1% to €3.7 billion, helped by higher demand for chemicals. RAG is working on its listing plans as the fight over setting up a coal mining foundation continues.
