ABSTRACT
This article looks at the growing popularity of lacrosse. The author notes that the sport is growing outside of its traditional base in the mid-Atlantic U.S., and is expanding in states like Texas, Louisiana and Alabama. These states have shown the strongest growth according to data from SportScanINFO. The author offers his opinion on why he believes the sport has grown so much.
