The article provides information about the 2007 U.S. Independence Cup/North American Challenge Cup (IC/NACC) Regatta, which will be held on August 3 to 6, 2007 at Chicago Yacht Club's Belmont Station. According to the author, doublehanded competition at the IC/NACC, raced in specially outfitted 20-foot Freedom Independence boats, is seen to heat up. Solo entrants will be using singlehanded 2.4 mR boats, and for the first time the event will host the triplehanded Sonar class, the author noted.
