ABSTRACT
The article offers information about the Service-Disabled Life Insurance (S-DVI) program of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. The S-DVI program was established in 1951 to meet the insurance needs of certain veterans with service-connected disabilities. The S-DVI is available in a variety of permanent plans and term insurance. Policies are issued for a maximum face amount of $10,000. The criteria to be met in order to apply for S-DVI are enumerated.
