ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the participation of Siobhan Sheridan, human resource director of Capital One, and Valerie Anderson, principal lecturer in human resource management at Portsmouth Business School, in the Human Resource Development 2007 event held in London, England. Sheridan explained the importance of constant conversation between learning and development managers and their business counterparts, while Anderson talked about organizations with long-term and short-term goals.
