ABSTRACT
The article presents information on issues related to social networking Web sites and Weblogs. According to Hitwise Inc., Myspace is one of the most popular social networking sites in Great Britain. It is reported that the social networking web site Orkut which is owned by Google Inc. is popular among Brazilians. According to the company Ofcom, 16 to 24 year olds used social networking sites for keeping up contacts.
