ABSTRACT
The article reports developments on the expansion plans of SeverCorr LLC in Columbus, Mississippi. According to reports, SeverCorr will be increasing its raw-steel capacity to 3.4 million tons/year, which is above the original projections for the mini-mill's planned expansion. Company CEO, John Correnti, believed that investors, partners and government officials have been supportive on the construction of the next-generation steel mill in the U.S.
