ABSTRACT
The article presents information on the decision of Italian actress Sophia Loren to never visit Maroochydore, Queensland. It is reported that the actress was invited by the organizers of the Italian-Australian Film Festival to be held in Maroochydore for the red carpet. A local newspaper published a report regarding her age which upset the actress and made her decide that she will never visit the city. The festival was then shifted to Sydney, New South Wales.
