ABSTRACT
The author recounts his experience of bonefishing in the Bahamas with the help of Marvin Adderley, a bonefish guide who lost his right arm following an airplane crash. The author was first skeptical of his bonefishing trip since he could not think of any occupation that depends more on the full use of two arms and hands than that of a bonefish guide. However, he saw how Adderley could load a boat onto a trailer, to steer it, to demonstrate casting techniques and land and release fish.
