The article emphasizes the possibility that walking is the best way to shape up and stay fit. According to Mark Fenton, host of the television series "America's Walking," a number of epidemiological studies since 2002 have shown that moderate walking, and not hard-core sports or marathon running, leads to positive health outcomes. A research from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst found that single sessions of walking can improve insulin sensitivity, which is a key to preventing diabetes. Fitness guru Leslie Sansone contends that walking is not just for older people.
