ABSTRACT
This article focuses on the importance of personal credibility for human resources (HR) professionals. According to the Human Resource Competence Study, personal credibility is one of the key competencies of successful HR practitioners. HR professionals have to earn the trust of their internal clients in order to elicit confidence in the strategic potential of HR. Emotional intelligence or personal insight is also necessary for HR professionals.
