The article presents a round-up of latest green initiatives in Great Britain. The City of London Corporation has announced a project to put London at the forefront of investment into technologies needed to tackle climate change. Extra taxes to punish polluters and encourage firms to be more environmentally friendly were outlined in the budget in March 2007. Great Britain needs to act to reduce the impact of climate change, according to the first national index of public opinion on green issues.
